20 Jazz Funk Greats is another cool weblog that currently has a link to one of my all time favorite bands, Neu(pronounced Noy).
Even tho they only existed for a few years in the early 70's they became faves of Bowie, Iggy, and many future punk bands. Just now in the naughts Neu is starting to sound contemporary, and can be heard in bands like Stereolab, Fugazi,and Clinic. Recently Tarentino added them to the Kill Bill soundtack.
