Last Friday night between his Portland and Eugene speeches Barack Obama stopped by my favorite lunch spot and pizza place American Dream in Corvallis.Around 5PM his bus and entourage stopped at the 2nd st. location and he went in and ordered a stack of pies for his crew, had his pic taken with a cheese slice,took pictures with the staff and supporters,and left for the Eugene speech, which was carried live at 9PM on the local stations.
There are more pics available on the net, but here are a few of this memorable event, which reminded me of all the presidential candidates' visits to Pepe's in New Haven.
